RSA Road Safety Metaverse

Browser-based virtual learning platform

RSA Core was created as a remote road-safety learning environment for Ireland’s Road Safety Authority during the shift from in-school to at-home education. Developed with BBDO and Solarflare, the browser-based 3D platform allowed RSA presenters and students to meet in the same virtual space while participating from different locations.

Users entered as avatars and moved through an environment containing age-appropriate learning materials, including presentations, video and animation. The platform combined the familiarity of a web browser with the social presence of a shared 3D world, giving the RSA a flexible environment for live and reusable educational content.
