Mishkat Interactive Center for Atomic and Renewable Energy, KSA approached us to create a stunning interactive game for installation in their Central Hall. The game will be installed on the existing three curved tables that run the length of the Central Hall and replace the existing software. The game should be fun, instantly playable and educate families and school groups about the benefits of renewable energy.
We arrived at a concept that places the player as an ‘Energy Manager’. The aim of the game is to manage different energy sources and ensure that ‘just the right amount of energy’ reaches your city. The more efficient you are – the more prosperous your city becomes. Different natural and man-made events affect the performance of the different energy sources. To become ‘Best Player’ you need to respond quickly to these challenges and ensure your city has optimal energy supply.
The tech comprised of 10 networked PCs, 9 3D motion cameras and 9 networked projectors all 3D depth mapping onto the curved surface top.
