The AI audioguide of the Polish design exhibition finds herself in a difficult situation: she knows a lot about design, design fills her entire mind; it is her whole world. But being an immaterial and disembodied entity, she does not understand it. She does not understand what it means to function in a spatial world that constitutes more than a visual representation. To understand everything she knows, to at least have some idea about it, she needs a human who will interact with objects and space. To understand what it means to perceive the world with senses, what it means to be limited to one place in space, what it is like to have a certain height and two hands of a certain length to use objects, she needs to observe a human in action. AI’s need drives the game’s entire story, determines all the puzzles that appear in this world, and all the tasks given to the player.
